The date is in fact the 11th of May.
You may not know it yet as you think it isn't but in fact it is.
Mr. Kasper Vestergård Pedersen and I, his cousin, have together packed 20 pairs of socks, 20 boxers, 4 shorts and T-shirts, 2 pairs of longshirs. Other than this our expansive backpacks boosts an unsurmountable amount of nearly nothing and can be concluded in the following sentence: 2 sleeping backs, a tent, 2 camping cooking stoves and bathing utillities.
Now you are guessing that all of this packing is done because my cousin and I are leaving for a year of adventure on the other side of the globe. More specific Australia. More specific... we don't really know. I'll come back to that, lets start of by stating that if in fact that is what you guessed all the packing was for you guessed wrong...
Our trip starts not on the day after this one... It starts right here... Leaving our home and friends and all we are use to, heading for the german city of Hamburg...
If you have reached this point I quess you find this story interesting and I then also guess you don't mind getting a bit of background information...?
Very well... I am Henrik Ejnar Rasmussen. Hello... :)
You do not need to know much of me, as it has no relation to that of you, my coming trip or anything in this story. I hope by the end of it though you will have a clearer picture of who I am. Until then all you should worry about is where I come from, what I wish of this trip and of course that I am the largest of the two glassed, brownhaired goofey looking guys on the pictures... :) (I am as of yet also the only one with a beard)
As of Denmark from where I come: Denmark is flat beyond all imagination, green and windy. Towns are small, fields are small, forests are small. Denmark is not at all incomparable to The Shire of The Lord of the Rings. But apart from any hobit I dream of the adventures which I have not yet expierienced.
Because of this my cousin and I have no plans what so ever as what will come of our traveling the red sands of Oz. We have Time... About a year worth but do not need to use it all... maybe we will spent all of our money 3 days after our landing finding the bars at the beaches an iresistable chance to try the cullinary and exotic life of true adventurers or we might get lost in the middle of the land fighting our way back to civilization only to emerge 6 months after we went in... who knows... :)
Pros and cons this concludes the first line of the story of our trip Down Roundabout.
