After working with kids of different handicaps in different projects i was trying to find an edducation suitable for me. As i was looking arround on the internet i came uppon volunteerwork and looked into it a bit further. The organisation that appealed most to me was "Impact".

This organisation had experience and a christian value that i find openminded, caring and respectfull. Helping the kids and young living on the street, in shelters or orfinige are their highest goal. They sounded very organised and responsible witch i can only confirm, after experiensing it myself.

I was drawn to the idea of doing something as meningfull as helping kids, brought into this world, and not being taken care of. In Denmark we have social problems aswell, but not as obvious as in Brazill for instance. The extreeme conditions these children live under are horrorfying, so i signed up to be a voloteer in Macapa, Brazill.

I hope that i will be able to fill in a small spot in this project and make a difference, however small it might be!

In return i will get the experience in doing something for others, for just the sake of doing it, and i get to see another part of life that I and others might bennifit from.
