Australien - Darwin. Thunderstorms, wine and crackers...

We are in Darwin.
The most northern part of Australia we will come.
The weather is really hot and moist and as we look out across the ocean we see thunderclouds building. They are far of shore so we buy some wine, crackers and cheese, the matresses are thrown on top of the car and we sit on the roof listening to classic music, eating snacks as a "see you" party for Pernille who is now leaving the Tigermis to stay in Darwin.
WE (kasper and I) drive on as we have a job to reach on the middle of the west coast.

Australien - Yulara / Uluru / Katatjuta

Aha...! today we visited the most sacred of places for the Aboriginees..!
Apperently though it has been squashed underneath a giant red rock... :S
Its a pretty big rock with a pretty amount of flies around it... I think Pernille got a video of Kasper and I doing forbidden dancemoves to ward of the flies... we reach about 300 meter around before we have to retreat and seek shelter in the tigermis which we think scares the flies so the do not fly in there... :S
The climb was closed becouse it was nearly 40 degrees... :S

Wow... And they say northerners thinks its hot in here..?!
Its an oven..! the cars airconditioning has no way of fighting the heat in here and if we open the windows we get attacked by dustblows which fills the car with sand...
All our drinking water is now about 30 degrees... :S
Luckely some of the smaller town has swimming pools or indeed a lake...! :D

Australien - Mining town of Mt. Isa...

Todays stop is in the town of Mit Isa n the middle of nowhere...
YOu drive through light killy country and the n out of nothing a giant mine jumps in front of your face with a small city set around it...
We stock up our supplies again and wander a bit around town... Everything seems to be centered around the giant smoke stacks in the middle of town which is obviously the mine...
Tonight we sleep in a rather scary abandoned rotary park with a dry river...
Tomato and mustard, Bacon souce filled Patatos in the dark... nice... :D

For the most we will see if we can find resting places on the road so as to save some $$$!
Thisnight we have and its Spaghetti Bolognese over our nice litlle gasstove...!
We have found out what a endless straight road means...!
Today we drove for hours where there were nothing...! litteraly nothing for as long as you can see..! but the Tigermis is doing great..! :D
She runs to the horizon..!

For the third time now we are in Townsville...
By now we have found our seats in the car... Pernille on the left sitting with her feet in the window, me (Mr. Ejnar) in the middle with my feet in the window and Kasper on the right with his feet on the pedals...! :D
