A little cloudy today but still hot and humid. Eggs and potoatoes for breakfast again. We walked to Central Park and saw the memorial to John Lennon in Strawberryfields. Walked around the park over to Metropolitan Museum of Art and saw the 3000 years old obelisk from Egypt. Then to the Guggenheim and saw a lot of "funny" art, not to our taste that's for sure. The modern stuff pretty terrible. The stuff of Picasso, Manet, Monet etc. was better, you could see what it represented. The building in itself was quite nice.
We then walked on Park Avenue south, alot of doctors on this street. Had a tour in Radio City Music Hall. Unbelievable to think the place was on the verge of demolishen but saved in the nick of time. In 1999 70 million dollars was used to bring the place back to the original 1932 look. Roxy, the founder, had great taste.
By this time we were quite tired, a little jetlag so took it easy, walked a bit around also in the Rockefellar Center and purchased tickets for tomorrow for a tour of the NBC.
Sitting at a Starbucks to do this internet stuff enjoying a cafe latte.
