Day 1

Started the day with eggs and potatoes, yummy.  Walked to pier 82 and took the Circle Line 3 hour cruise around Manhattan Island.  A great trip full of information.  Sailing by the Statue of Liberty was very breathtaking and emtional, thinking back in time to all the immigrants arriving from europe and thinking my own family doing the same thing just in Halifax instead and not more than 60 years ago.

We then went up the Empire State Building, great view but a little haze over the city.

Bought tickets for the musical Billy Elliot on Broadway.  GREAT show and the kids were fantastic.
