After our insuccesful attempt of hitching we were picked up at Normas where we were staying by Katie and went for a 1,5 hours drive to the farm. The farm is located at 1000 meters above sea and we were therefore driven on the most windy road in the world! Both Kasper and I didn't say much because we were concentrated on keeping our lunch inside us, but from Katie we learned that we were going to live in a little cottage with two other boys. One is called Raymond and is coming from Ireland. The other is from Wales and is called James. They are both quite nice and we get on fine. We manage the cottage ourselves but the food we eat is stashed full in the cuboard and Katie fills it once and again. We have to do the cooking ourselves though and it gets a bit inventive at times. Todays lunch was bolognese tousts with chedar cheese. Scraps from yesterdays pasta. :S (Raymonds cake cooking is helping some :D ).
We started working early the morning after we arrived. We have so far been harvesting, cleaning and drying medicinal roots. Its dirty work and not very well paid but we don't have any expenses and evrybody here is really nice so it's fine. We're located near a big national park so theres a lot of forest and beutyful scenery. Look at the pictures and they will tell you. The time is 10 pm now so I will head for the bed and hope there are not any spiders there like I have been told:D goodnight...
